Flash back Friday to that time I went to India! Last year around this time my friend and I went to visit another friend who was living in Delhi for work. Overall, it was an incredible experience.
One of the best parts about India is that many Indians follow a vegetarian diet. This means that they have some of the most incredible vegetarian food! While I have always loved Indian food (in America), eating truly authentic naan and saag was the experience of a lifetime.
I have my Indian restaurants in the area that I absolutely love, but I think it might be time for me to give Indian food a try of my own (my mom has done it before and her's always turns out well). One of my favorite dishes is Saag. This is a cooked spinach dish that is often eaten with chicken or paneer (Indian cheese).
Below is a recipe for Authentic Saag Paneer from All Recipes. I'll have to give it a try and let you know how closely it resembles the real thing!
