Happy April Fools' Day, first day of April and Holy week! Lot's of things to be celebrating! With the beginning of April, and the week leading up to Easter, Easter candy is in full force (even though it's been out since October!). These treats are hard to resist and moderation is not my friend with them.
This year, I wanted to find a healthier substitute for one of my favorites...the Reese's Egg. This delicious egg is the perfect balance of peanut butter and chocolate yumminess. So, I got to work and below is what I created. These peanut butter eggs are actually packed with protein along with good fats to satisfy. Give them a try!

Depending on your protein powder, these little guys work out to be ~100 calories each and pack 6g of protein (per 1 egg)! You can also make some modifications by using different nut butters (almond butter, cashew butter, etc.) as desired. Enjoy!
