My other fun find at the grocery store last week, along with my turnips, was a rutabaga. I can't say that I've ever cooked one, but I remember reading Rootabaga Stories by Carl Sandburg as a kid so I figured I'd give it a go.
I searched a little more about rutabagas and found that just like turnips, they have some great properties. Check it out!
Have you ever used a rutabaga in a recipe? What's your favorite rutabaga dish?
