Now that doesn't mean that we can get crazy and eat as much avocado as we want. They still contain calories and must be accounted for based on desired caloric intake of each individual. But, they are definitely a good use of calories and a good food to make room for in your diet.
One of the best things about avocados is their creamy texture. This means that they can often be substituted for other foods to improve the consistency in various recipes and dishes. Avocados can be used in place of mayonnaise on sandwiches, in dressings and in chicken salad. This food can even be used to make a creamy chocolate pudding!
