I'm usually the person that insists that Christmas music is not allowed to be played before Thanksgiving, but this year I just couldn't help myself. I found a station down here that started playing Christmas music mid-November and I broke my cardinal rule. I'm ok with it though because I haven't gotten tired of it yet!
Don't worry, my Christmas music listening didn't prevent me from having a wonderful Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving morning, the boy and I ran the Gobble Your Giblets 5k to support the USC Upstate Cross Country team. It wasn't our best run, but I was glad we did it afterwards.

We got cleaned up and headed over to the boyfriend's parents where they cooked an amazing meal with all the good stuff!
Friday included some shopping, but more for DIY projects then Christmas. However, Friday night the boy let me put up a Christmas tree and our 2014, purchased for 25 cents ornaments!

Saturday included even more festivities as I traveled up to Charlotte to visit with my Grandma for her 97th birthday! It was wonderful to spend some time with her and we even got to FaceTime with my siblings and parents. Technology is pretty awesome these days!
The weekend finished with some football, homemade pizza and watching of two of the best Christmas movies (Ernest Saves Christmas & Love Actually). A great way to send off November and greet December!
Hope your Thanksgiving was full of good food and fun!
