Day 1-Madrid
We hopped off the plane at LAX… just kidding! We hopped off the plane in Madrid after a 6 and a half hour flight full of a group of teenagers. It was about 7:30am there and about 1:30am for us in the states. We navigated our way through the beautiful, but very large airport, exchanged some money and grabbed the metro to our hotel. Thankfully, at 8am there aren’t very many people up and using the metro so it was quite a peaceful ride. Our hotel was right outside a metro stop, which made travel very easy. After dropping our bags, we freshened up (aka changed clothes) and started our day. We had previously looked up places that we wanted to see and how we would divide up the days. We made our way around:
Puerta del Toledo
Day 2-Madrid
Day 2 started off a little slower with an early morning chocolate croissant of course! We made our way to El Rastro, a flea market held on Sunday mornings in Madrid.
Stay tuned for my recap of Barcelona!
