The Hornets are back! And I don't mean the bug. The Charlotte NBA team has gone back to its roots with the Hornets mascot rather than the Bobcats. I remember having all sorts of Hornets gear when I was a kid and it makes me nostalgic. So why do I bring this up? Well the Hornets are playing a preseason game at the Wellness Arena in Greenville TONIGHT! We've got our tshirts to rep the guys and are ready to go (I do wish we could go back to the old logo though). Funny enough, they're playing against the Washington Wizards. Hometown versus New Town!
But, before that happens I need to get in a good workout for the day. I used to be a big morning exerciser and had no issue waking up at the crack of dawn for a run. Nowadays, even when my alarm is set for that 6am wake up call, there is no hope in me getting out of bed before I have to. The real question in all this, is it better to exercise in the morning or later in the day?
The great news is it doesn't matter! Now obviously there can be some perks to either time for exercise, but as long as you're doing it you're good to go! The most important rule of thumb is to find a time to exercise that makes you feel the best and can fit into your routine. Creating that routine will help keep you on track with workouts and allow your body to adjust to the different timings of food and exercise.
Now I can feel comfortable transitioning to my evening workouts and knowing i'm still doing my body good. When do you workout?
Happy Friday!
